About Camp Inter-Actions

Georges Mills, NH 

Camp Inter-Actions is  summer camp experience for boys and girls ages 8-15 who are blind or visually impaired. 

Through challenging and rewarding experiences the campers will make new friends, learn new skills, gain self-confidence, and develop independence. All program activities are designed in a safe and fun environment for children who are blind or visually impaired.

1 Week Session: ♫ Music Camp
July 27- August 2, 2008

2 Week Session:
August 3-16, 2008

Facilities:

Inter-Actions is located on 150 acres with secluded shorefront on a crystal clear lake. A sandy beach, docks, canoes, rowboats and kayaks add to the fun at the waterfront. Campers and their counselors sleep in screened cabins. The dining hall, main house, and nurse’s cabin are close by.

Other camping facilities include playing fields, basketball court, arts and crafts and pottery studio, theater, and woodshop.  Camp Inter-Actions is an ideal setting for a traditional summer camp experience  

Activities:

Activities include, music, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, arts and crafts, woodworking, adapted sports, and daily living skills.  All activities are incorporated into fun-filled days! 

Staff

An experienced staff trained in Education, Orientation and Mobility,  Lifeguards and a Nurse  will be present throughout the camping experience. 

A Counselor in Training program includes former campers,  providing a role model for the younger children.
